Fantastic!
I bought this even though the reviews weren't as good as I expected and it really is phenomenal. There has never been a problem with suction and no real issue with static electricity. It is easy to store in our flat and I find myself using it often since it is so easy and so effective.

DIFFERENT CLASS
This is my first Dyson vacuum cleaner and it is by far the best I have ever used. The suction is incredibly powerful and the amount of tiny dust particles and fluff it picks up illustrates what normal vacuums do not pick up. My carpets actually look significantly cleaner after just a few uses. One slight snag is that the hose does tend to kink quite easily, which is a bit of a design flaw, but overall this is a very well engineered product with excellent performance.

Dyson DC08 What a waste of money
Bought a DC-08 about a year ago now because myself and my wife have astma.

My initial thoughts were looks good seemed to suck well.

Within 4 months I had to araldite the flexi hose back on the carpet head. Then use more araldite on the small carpet tool.

Its fine when its working but boy is it high maintainance. My pajero is less trouble. Suction has been going intermittently and only returns to full power when I put my hand over the nozzle ...9od alone knows why.

the final straw was last week when the suction went again, this time didn't return.

Im gonna buy a henry this time ... no bling factor ... it just does what it says on the tin so im told by friends who have them.

The dyson marketing machine is phenominal I was sucked in lust like the thousands of other people who bought them. Just like the motor industry the real meoney is made on spares and repair not the initial purchase.

in short I wouldn't have one given me.
